Let $i$ and $j$ be the unit vectors in the $x$ and $y$ directions, respectively. For the function $F\left ( x,y \right )=x^{3}+y^{2}$ the gradient of the function. i.e.. $\triangledown F$ is given by

  1. $3x^{2}i-2yj$
  2. $6x^{2}y$
  3. $3x^{2}i+2yj$
  4. $2yi-3x^{2}j$
